Location:Remote (with two weeks on-site; 50% DSA is applicable), expectation to work GMT+2/Rome time-zone working hours

Eligibility: All Fixed-Term, Permanent or continuing appointment UNICEF staff members currently working in UNICEF worldwide.
BackgroundWe are seeking a highly motivated and talented colleague for a three-month stretch assignment to join the Humanitarian Policy Section (HPS), Office of Emergency Programmes (EMOPS), to support the Section's work on assignment to support work on humanitarian access, humanitarian negotiations,



and capacity building in complex and high-threat environments. This role will operate under the general guidance of the Humanitarian Access Specialist (ERT), Complex and High Threat Environments Team (based in Rome).
Purpose of the PositionTo support the Humanitarian Policy Section's work on assignment to support work on humanitarian access, humanitarian negotiations, and capacity building in complex and high-threat environments.
DurationThis stretch assignment will be for a period of three months with possibility of extension.
Key expected results
- Support the organization of the biennial workshop for UNICEF Representatives on complex and high threat environments, blended with an executive humanitarian negotiations training for UNICEF country leadership. [30%]
