Job Description Role Purpose We are seeking a Rail Domain Consultant to lead the functional design of a Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS). Your mission is to serve as the bridge between the customer's maintenance engineering teams and the IT implementation arm.
You will be responsible for defining the functional blueprint that ensures high fleet availability and regulatory compliance, regardless of the underlying EAM software. Domain Expertise Requirements Deep Rail Background: Minimum 10 years of experience in Rail Maintenance Operations or Rolling Stock Engineering. You must speak the language of a depot (e.g., duty cycles, exams, concessions, and overhaul intervals). EAM Lifecycle Knowledge: Proven experience leading at least two large-scale EAM/MMIS implementations (e.g., IBM Maximo, SAP EAM, Carl Soft, Hexagon or Service Max) in a transportation context. Italian Market Fluency: Comprehensive understanding of the Italian rail regulatory environment and the specific operational challenges of regional/national rail networks in Italy.
