Database Administrator ExpertApplylocations: ITA - NA - NAPOLItime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: 51556229:DXC Technology is looking for a Database Administrator Expert to join the Cloud & Infrastructure team.## Responsibilities* Proven experience in operational management and performance tuning of databases, with end-to-end technical ownership of the database environment, from design to implementation* Strong skills in backup/restore strategies and service continuity support* Ability to monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, including the resolution of complex technical problems on database systems and platforms* Experience collaborating with infrastructure teams for application integration, and direct interface with clients and technical teams for requirements gathering and solution validation* Technical guidance and support for junior/mid team members, contributing to the definition of technical standards and best practices within the team* Availability to contribute to the hiring process through technical assessments during interviews## We Require* Team player mindset and ability to manage tasks and priorities independently, with strong problem-solving skills and effective communication with clients and technical teams* Oracle (Standalone and RAC) Microsoft SQL Server (Standalone and Always On) MySQL Server (Standalone and Always On) PostgreSQL (Standalone and Cluster) MongoDB (Standalone and Replica Set) Experience with Generative AI tools is a plusLocation: Naples (NA) with smart working possibility## Why Join UsThe position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €36.000.
Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (CBA: Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per l'industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti)
