Short Description The main objective of the Accounting, Treasury and Tax Specialist role is to carry out accounting, treasury and tax activities related to the proper functioning of the function, as well as to monitor processes for the Italian companies at the European Finance Shared Service Center (FSSC) .
The role aims to contribute to the accurate and true preparation of the financial statements of the Italian companies, ensuring compliance with tax obligations and guaranteeing the availability of the financial resources required for the company’s operations.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Treasury management activities (communication with banks, management of bank guarantees, handling of any manual payments, weekly report on actual cash movements in TMS, weekly short- and medium-term cash planning in BPC, management of foreign exchange hedging contracts, etc.);
- Activities related to the monthly closing of the accounting books (review of accounts payable and receivable processes carried out at the FSSC, general ledger postings, support in the month-end closing process in SEM BCS, verification of fixed asset depreciation, etc.) and digital archiving of the general journal and VAT books;
- Support in the preparation of quarterly and year-end reports (e.g. Note Package, deferred tax, notes to the financial statements);
- Support during the audit of the financial statements by external auditors;
- Support for tax compliance activities (periodic and annual VAT settlements and returns, withholding tax certificates, Esterometro, Form 770, etc.) and related accounting entries;
- Support in the preparation of monthly Intrastat reports and statistical reporting to ISTAT;
- Support in the management of legal matters related to customers;
- Timely escalation of any issues to the Accounting, Treasury and Tax Manager.
Your Qualifications
- Degree in Economics or Accounting diploma with extensive and proven experience in the field
- Knowledge of Italian accounting principles and IFRS;
- Knowledge of tax and commercial law;
- SAP experience;
- IT skills (MS Office package);
- Basic knowledge of English, German is a plus;
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Organizational skills, accuracy and a methodical approach to tasks;
- Flexibility, dynamism and continuous improvement mindset;
- Initiative and ability to work independently;
- Ability to manage pressure and stress;
- High motivation and focus on team and company results;

Our Offering Pay Range: 38.000-45.000€
