**About The Role** In this role you will report to the Engineering and R&D; Director and will be responsible for: - Develop and implement strategic plans for the automation engineering department to achieve operational and business goals.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of automation systems across various sectors of the company.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, from concept to delivery, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Manage,



mentor, and expand the automation engineering team.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate automation solutions that improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Stay abreast of the latest in automation technology and industry trends to maintain competitive advantage.
- Report on department performance, challenges, and progress directly to senior management. **What You Need To Be Successuful**
- Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in automation engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in various automation and control systems, software development, and system integration.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of technical professionals.
- Strong project management skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
