We are looking for a Business Controller to join the DHL eCommerce Cross
- Border Solutions team **Business Controller
**Your Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Prepare / create customer profitability reviews, create transparency and provide pro-active insight to support business decision making
- Cost controlling and cost timing (high quality required)
- Drive performance dialogue with business partners in terms of gross profit per customer
- Strong participation in the process of month end closing (e.g. invoice coding and allocation of direct costs)
- Prepare Month End Reporting Deck
- Own Parcel Connect services from cost perspective incl. cost allocation to customers
- Validate accruals and provisions
- Lead the forecasting and budget process (P&L; + Cash Flow)
- Improve data models on a permanent basis
- Run and support Finance initiatives
- Support Head Office, Head of Finance, Managing Director with reports, insights, analysis, data etc.
- Support processes and continuous process improvement in the interface between business and Finance
- Dealing with ad-hoc request
- Analysis of P&L; and Cash Flow Data
- Maintain PowerBi data engines **Your Profile**: - Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance / Accounting or comparable
- Min. 5 years of relevant experience in Finance / Controlling. Experience in logistics industry is a plus
- Strong understanding of cost allocation and performance drivers
- Strong skills in Excel (must) and Power BI
- Good knowledge of Power Point (Think-Cell is a plus)
- Good SAP knowledge
- Familiar in dealing with complex data
- Advanced communication skills: fluent in Italian and English. German is a plus
- Detail oriented and commitment to quality output
- Able to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
- Proactive approach, task and goal-orientated
