As a Land Acquisition Specialist, you will ensure the successful scouting of new projects until land rights are fully signed, jointly with Axpo partners or for pure greenfield opportunities. You will guarantee the achievement of objectives in terms of number of projects/hectares with land secured. You will report to the Head of land acquisition and work in close cooperation with the project team based in Rome (Italy) and Montpellier (France). Your main responsibilities will include: - Implementation of land prospection plans
- Identification and selection of suitable lands matching pre-enstablished criteria (identified by you or the GIS Analyst)
- Networking with landowners and local/regional stakeholders
- Visit of the sites to present lease offers to landowners
- Management of administrative procedures related to land securing with local authorities
- Assessment of the main characteristics of the plot
- Preparation and negotiation of land lease agreements
- Origination of new project or partnership opportunities **Profile**: - Master’s or bachelor’s degree in the field of energy, real estate, agriculture, urbanism, business development
- Successful experience of at least 1 year in securing land for investments, ideally solar and / or wind projects
- Proven prospection and negotiation skills
- Proactive, ability to work with methodology and rigor
- Excellent communication skills - Italian primary language - English intermediate level
- Valid driving license category B
- Availability to travel
- Knowledge of the Italian solar energy / real estate / agricultural industry would be a plus
