- Torino, IT, 10121**Contract Type**:Permanent**Division**:Certification Compliance & Technical Support**Level of experience**:Intermediate- RINA is currently recruiting for a **Sustainability Compliance Scheme Leader** to join its office in Genova, Torino or Casalecchio Di Reno within the Certification Compliance & Technical Support Division.**Mission**
- A Certification Scheme Leader ensures that products, services, or systems meet the necessary International, National and European Union (EU) or Accreditation Body or Certification Body or industry safety and conformity requirements. **Key Accountabilities** The role is focused on supporting the team in: - Planning, establishing and monitoring the sustainability certification schemes that define the criteria and procedures for certifying sustainability services.
- Developing RINA rules and relevant documents in order to obtain and maintain accreditations with particular reference to GHG-related issues (e.g.: ISO 14064-1, ISO 14064-2, ISO 14067, CDM, VCS, GS,....)
- Interact with manufacturers and clients, addressing their inquiries, providing guidance on compliance, and building and maintaining positive working relationships
- Continuously evaluate and improve the sustainability certification schemes, processes, and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and alignment with industry best practice
- Maintaining detailed records and reports related to product certifications, audits, and compliance activities. Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies **Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree
- High School Diploma/GED in Engineering General **Qualifications**
- Experience in activities conducted by Certification Bodies or in roles related to certification in the field of sustainability
- Knowledge of the certification sector
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft package (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, Power Point)
- Excellent knowledge of English and Italian
- Availability to travel nationally/internationally
- Excellent interpersonal skills
