Job Description The Purchasing Manager will manage and optimize purchasing activities and processes, identify suppliers, research goods and services, process purchase orders, verify delivered items and supervise staff. This individual will also ensure that all purchases are made in accordance with the property budget and business needs.
Lead and direct the work of the Teamincluding hiring, training and supervising.
Select the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency.
Develop and implement purchasing strategies as well as manage inventory needs.
Coordinate and partner with internal teams regarding their supply and equipment needs.
Manage supplier relations and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
Maintain the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
