As the Associate Planning Manager, you will optimize planning processes to support delivery, production, and financial (inventory) goals and work with various internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and implement improvements.How You'll Make An ImpactMay direct and coach the Planning and/or Scheduling team at a manufacturing facility focused on day-to-day or tactical tasksProvide input to the creation of a strategic roadmap and be responsible for executionOptimize planning processes to support delivery, production, and financial (inventory) goalsWork with various internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and implement improvementsProvide direction, delegate and remove obstacles to accomplish goalsEnsure adequate coverage of the department and backup coverageConduct onboarding and cross-training for team membersProvide support as needed to other plants and/or planning teamsFoster a collaborative work environmentOther areas of responsibility could include, but are not limited to, one or more of the following:Sourcing and purchasing goods and servicesVendor approvalPurchase order authorizationEnsuring adherence to the production scheduleIdentifying/correcting potential production problemsOrder level serviceMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field of study5 years of Planning, Logistics,
