We are looking for a **Motorsport Aerodynamic Engineering** to join our headquarters at Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting hierarchically reports to the **Head of Racing Cars Development**. You will be focused on all Squadra Corse Aerodynamic development of racing vehicles like GT3, ST, LMDH, or similar_. _
- Responsible for carrying out the activities related to Lamborghini Squadra Corse engineering projects from the concept phase to the final validation of the car;
- Working with the Vehicle Development to fulfil the project requirements of the cars in compliance with the technical regulation (FIA, ACO, IMSA, etc ).
- Definition of Parts specification with specifications.
- Steering of parts engineering activities and DMU definition.
- Coordination of surface development and integration of Style Centre concepts
- Coordination of aerodynamic development activities (numerical and experimental) executed by partners, both internal (Lamborghini R&D; department) and external (engineering suppliers.)
- Identification activities for aerodynamic performance and cooling (KPIs, sensitivity, stability, modularity)
- Support for car homologation activities in the Wind Tunnel (FIA, ACO, IMSA)
- Support for bodywork design
- Running, analyzing, and post-processing CFD cases
- Defining and implementing wind tunnel tests
- Validation and development of aero parts using wind tunnel, p-tap measurement and flow vis **About you**
- University degree in Aeronautic Engineering / Automotive Engineering
- At least 8 years of experience in Motorsport field
- Fully proficient in English, German as a plus but not mandator
- CFD Knowledge (theory, meshes, solving, pre
- and post-processing, data validation)
- Car aerodynamics and dynamic knowledge
- Experience in Aero testing
- R&D; Automotive background
- CAD: Catia V5 / Creo Parametric
- FEAnalisys
- CFD softwares (Fluent, Star CCM+, Ansa)
- BOM management
- Technical knowledge in Motorsport
- Motorsport Technical Regulation knowledge
- Problem solving attitude
