**About the Role**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy **Auditing Assistant** to support our client in maintaining the accuracy and compliance of their financial records. This is a full-time remote position focused on verifying data related to receipts and federal food programs. **Key Responsibilities**: - Review and audit financial documents, primarily receipts, for accuracy against recorded numbers.
- Cross-check and validate entries in internal systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, particularly those related to the **EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) Program** and **Federal Food Assistance Programs**.
- Identify discrepancies and flag inconsistencies for correction.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date audit records. **Requirements**: - **Basic math proficiency** and strong attention to detail.
- **Systems literacy** - experience using or learning multiple digital platforms.
- Prior experience with audits, bookkeeping, or administrative accuracy checks is a plus.
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Willingness to be trained on client-specific systems and processes.
