- We are **X-ELIO**: a Brookfield-owned leader in the renewable sector that has built over 3 GW of renewable energy projects (solar/BESS) across 13 countries and is developing 13 GW more. And we are looking for you! **Reporting to**: Legal Counsel **Based in**: Roma, Italy
- The selected professional will play a key role in providing legal counsel to the Italian team and supporting the company’s growth in the Italian market. **What will you do?**: - Provide legal advice to support project development, construction, operation, and acquisition phases, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
- Draft, review, and negotiate key contracts, including PPAs, EPC agreements, and financing documents.
- Oversee corporate governance activities,



ensuring proper maintenance of records and compliance with Italian corporate requirements.
- Manage relationships with internal teams, external counsel, and other stakeholders to facilitate project delivery within budget.
- Support litigation and dispute resolution processes as needed. **What do we need?**: - Strong academic record from an Italian university.
- 7 years of legal experience, with 4 years in a major law firm or in-house legal department, focusing on the energy sector.
- Significant experience in transactions within the renewables industry, including project development contracts and M&A; opportunities.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and set priorities.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
