Manager / Team Leader In this role, you will own the Trade & Structured Finance function for ABB Robotics, leading guarantees, structured financing, and working-capital solutions. You'll design the operating model, automate trade processes, and manage relationships with banking partners to unlock liquidity. You will collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Legal, and the business to build a scalable, independent trade-finance capability.
This role offers scope to shape capital efficiency in a fast-moving, international environment and drive AI-enabled improvements across trade workflows. Own end-to-end Trade & Structured Finance function including guarantees, structured finance, and working capital solutions Manage full guarantee portfolio and facilities (bank guarantees, parent guarantees, surety bonds, standby LC) from negotiation to lifecycle events Own guarantee operating model and systems (subsidiary requests, tracking, bank transmission, and Komgo records) Develop and implement receivables factoring, supply chain/payables finance, and structured trade finance programs Manage bank relationships, onboarding, KYC/AML, and commercial terms Oversee covenant monitoring, lender reporting, and internal controls for trade-finance governance Drive automation and AI across trade processes (request to issuance,
tracking, reconciliation, reporting) using SAP S4 and related tools Collaborate with business on tenders, bids, and contracts, providing financing solutions while safeguarding liquidity Extensive treasury experience in global, multinational companies with a track record in trade finance and bank guarantee management Hands‐on expertise with guarantee instruments (bank guarantees, PCGs, surety bonds, standby letters of credit) including facility negotiation and wording review Solid knowledge of structured finance, AR factoring, and supply chain/payables finance, including program structuring and accounting implications Experience with bank onboarding, KYC/AML, covenant frameworks, and lender reporting in multi-entity, multi-country contexts Experience applying AI and/or automation to trade finance processes Dynamic, agile professional with ownership mindset and potential carve‐out or standalone build experience Leadership experience in developing and managing a small team Fluent in English; additional languages a plus In this role, you will own the Trade & Structured Finance function for ABB Robotics, leading guarantees, structured financing, and worki...
