About our client
We are working with an entrepreneurial German mid-cap firm, eager to expand into the Italian market. The firm has a great investment record and a distinctive investor base that offers a unique network and cultural approach.

They are looking to bring onboard a new senior colleague, most likely at Partner level to spearhead a push into the Italian market, leveraging the investor base and their own local network to source and lead exciting deals and build a business.

The opportunity will appeal to an experienced investor keen to play a more prominent leadership role.

What the job involves
- Represent the firm in business development and deal sourcing locally.
- Lead analysis and execution of new deals; the firm is likely to build a small team around you to support you.




- Work closely with portfolio companies to deliver value creation and exits.
- Integrate closely with the existing team and in particular their network of engaged entrepreneurs and investors to share ideas, access and performance optimisation opportunities.

Who we are looking for
- Proven record as a deal leader in relevant buyout deals in Italy; ideally in mid cap but small or large deal records may also be appropriate.
- Excellent local network and demonstrable origination skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset - self-starter, able to work independently; ambitious; dynamic.
- High personal impact and credibility - winning the trust of owners, managers and the engaged investor base is critical to the firm’s operating model.
- Top academic background and early professional career.
- Fluent English and local language skills as appropriate.
