Overview:
**_ **CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**_** SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) Cable Plant Technician to support US Army requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR). **Responsibilities**: - Subject Matter Expert responsible for overseeing theater-wide cable plant installation, set-up, and removal operations.
- Responsible for overseeing removal of switching, distribution, routing, and dialing equipment at program end-user locations.
- Responsible for ensuring the timely, effective repair of telephone, cable television, internet, and other communications equipment at supported end-user locations.
- Supports theater project planning / execution to optimize and modernize theater IT infrastructure.
- Manages and mentors subordinate personnel. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 14 years’ experience, or a high school diploma with a minimum of 16 years’ experience.
- An active Secret security clearance with an SSBI.
- DOD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) 411 Certs:



SecurityX / CASP+ or CCNP Security or CISA or FITSP-O or GICSP or SSCP or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and organize materials for In-Progress Review (IPR) meetings.
- Experience producing metrics and reports using Microsoft Office tools.
- Proven administrative support experience, assisting contractor management with various tasks and projects.
- Demonstrated history of discretion, independent judgment, and self-direction. Working Conditions: - Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
- Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 - 1700.
- May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
- It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
