Key Responsibilities Actively contribute to the day-to-day and month-end, quarter-end and year-end books close process (incl. but not limited to recording of accruals/prepaids, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts etc);
Reviewing bookkeeping entries and closing books and working schedules and reconciliations prepared by the officers




Investigating full balance sheet and profit and loss variances against different benchmarks and providing variance analysis and associated explanations as part of the books closing process;
Actively supporting the preparation of VAT, tax returns and other regulatory reporting and reviewing of the VAT, tax returns and any other returns prepared by officers;
Involvement in the annual audit process and preparation of the annual financial statements and perform first review of the annual financial statements prepared by the officers
Actively contributing to improvement initiatives, standardization, re-engineering of processes and controls, and implementation of best practices.
Minimum Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or economics;
3 to 5 years of relevant experience are required;
Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
