Service S.r.l. is based in Bologna or Modena.

The Field Services

Engineer will perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance of company equipment at customer locations, ensuring reliable operation and minimal downtime. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, executing corrective and preventive maintenance, and providing on-site technical support to customers. The role also involves documenting service activities, preparing reports, and communicating clearly with internal teams to coordinate parts, upgrades, and follow-up actions.

The Field Services

Engineer will represent the company professionally, support customer training on equipment use, and actively contribute to continuous improvement of service processes.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in field service operations, including on-site equipment installation, configuration, and support.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills, with the ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, or software-related issues efficiently.
- Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance activities,



equipment inspections, and proactive issue identification.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on clear communication, professional conduct, and relationship building.
- Relevant technical education (e.g., diploma or degree in engineering, electronics, mechanics, or a related field).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and service manuals.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple service requests.
- Comfort with using digital tools for reporting, scheduling, and communication; basic proficiency with office and service management software.
- Willingness to travel locally or regionally as needed for customer site visits.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in industrial or technical environments.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with engineering, logistics, and customer support teams.
- Prior experience in a similar field service or technical support role in distribution, industrial equipment, or related sectors is a plus.
