flexible hours medior/senior permanent Startup / ScaleupJob DescriptionRole SnapshotYou'll engineer the electronics architecture and hardware for space robotic platforms within Fluid Wire Robotics' Space Division. You'll enable the in-orbit demonstration of Fluid Wire technology in 2028, integrating payload electronics with spacecraft systems for IOD, servicing, and debris removal missions. You'll work on site in Pisa, Italy, hands on with robotic hardware and test assets to turn concepts into flight-ready systems.

Your work will be central to system reliability, qualification, and mission success.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and own the electronics architecture for robotic payloads, from concept to flight-like implementationDesign schematics and multilayer PCBs, prototype, and validate through bring-up, bench testing, and iterationDevelop power electronics and analog signal conditioning with a focus on reliability, noise performance, and safetySelect space-suitable components, document derating and reliability rationale, and plan for procurement and obsolescenceLead integration with spacecraft systems, interfaces, and GSE, coordinating with external partners as neededPlan, execute, and document verification and validation, including environmental testing readiness and compliance to relevant standardsWhat You BringTechnical ToolkitPCB design and EDA tools, Altium Designer or similarAnalog signal conditioning, filtering, grounding,
