Job Title: Cost Engineer Espresso Location: IT The impact you’ll make:

- Estimates the cost of new propositions, new technologies and new products.
- Consolidates the Total Cost of Ownership for projects prior to launch in due time according to the development phase and project planning.
- Delivering cost efficient alternatives, ensuring fit to purpose.
- Report and alert cost evolution, gap to target, risks and opportunities during product development.
- Create financial simulations to enable make or buy decisions in due time along the development process.
- Support the animation and renovation projects led by the LCM team.
- Benchmarking activities: Provides should cost (benchmark) calculations and brown field estimations of parts, products or changes to support negotiation with (potential) suppliers.
- Participate in cost gap analysis between Philips branded products and competitors’ products.
- Collaborate with the project leader, the operations team (industrialisation, procurement, supply chain) to calculate the cost of the product’s Bill of Materials. The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
- Education: Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering - Experience: R&D;, purchasing, product Industrialization,
