The Nanomaterials for Energy and Life Science Research Unit is coordinated by Guglielmo Lanzani. The research focuses on establishing new abiotic/biotic interfaces that enable controlling cell physiology by light. Within the research team, your main responsibilities will be: - Handling corals, algae and other marine organisms for experiments
- Carry out experiments on those samples and co-operate in the interpretation of the results **ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- A PhD in Environmental Sciences and Technologies, Marine Science, Biology and similar disciplines
- Documented experience in handling and studying corals
- Good command of spoken and written English
- The ability to properly report, organize and publish research data **ADDITIONAL SKILLS**
- Experience in collaboration with sea canters, aquaria or similar.
- Ability to work in a challenging and international environment
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment
