JHC Consulting is a firm built on the discipline of the written word. We provide private counsel to board committees and chief executives, focusing on governance and strategy where a clear, dissenting view is required. We are currently supporting a partner, a European technology consultancy, as they refine their internal analytical processes. To support this work, we are seeking a Junior AI Automation Developer to join our practice. This is a full-time, permanent role that is conducted entirely on a remote basis. You will work to build the technical systems that allow our firm to synthesize large volumes of information into the rigorous written arguments our clients expect.
The Role
In this role, your daily focus will be on the practical application of automation to support our research mandates. You will build and maintain scripts that gather information from various sources, ensuring that data is organized and ready for human scrutiny. A significant portion of your work involves configuring large language models to assist our principals in the early stages of document review.
You will not be creating presentations or visual decks. Instead, you will build reliable backend systems that help our analysts move from raw data to a finished memorandum more efficiently. This involves testing automation workflows, verifying the accuracy of model outputs, and ensuring that our technical infrastructure remains stable and secure. You will work closely with the people who author our reports, translating their analytical needs into functional code.
What You Bring
We are looking for an individual who is early in their career but possesses a high degree of intellectual maturity. You should have a foundational understanding of programming, specifically in Python, and a working knowledge of how to interact with modern AI models through code.
