JHC Consulting is an independent advisory firm that provides counsel to heads of industry and board committees. We are currently assisting a partner, a European technology consultancy, with an engagement regarding their long term strategic roadmap. We are looking for a Frontend Engineer Intern to assist in building the internal digital environments and data visualization tools that support our analysis. This is a tempo pieno, fully remote position for an individual who views technical development as a form of precise communication.
The Role
In this role, you will focus on the technical implementation of the tools our principals use to synthesize information. Your day to day work involves building and refining web interfaces that prioritize clarity and readability. Because our firm produces written memoranda rather than slide decks, your work will center on creating clean, text heavy environments that allow for deep concentration and clear data representation.
You will translate complex internal datasets into visual structures that help our advisors identify contradictions in a client's narrative. You will also contribute to the maintenance of our digital archives, ensuring that our signed records remain accessible and secure for years to come.
What You Bring
We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in the core technologies of the web. You should have a functional understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with an interest in how typography and layout affect the comprehension of complex information. As our firm values the discipline of writing, you must be able to document your technical choices and logic in plain language. We do not require professional experience for this internship, but we do look for evidence of your ability to learn technical systems and a willingness to take individual responsibility for your tasks. Intellectual maturity and a high degree of discretion are essential given the sensitive nature of our advisory work.
