The OT Systems Engineer supports the design, implementation, and operation of secure, resilient systems infrastructure for hyperscale data centre OT environments in Siziano, Milan. The role focuses on Operational Technology systems including Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), and other critical site infrastructure.

This is a hands‐on, site-based role requiring regular presence across local data centre sites in the Siziano/Milan area.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, maintain, and optimise OT systems infrastructure across critical data centre environments.
- Support Windows, Linux, VMware, and virtualised platforms to maintain performance,
resilience, security, and service continuity.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues or bottlenecks, and implement improvements to support high availability.
- Troubleshoot complex incidents, work with internal teams and vendors, and help drive root cause resolution and preventive actions.
- Support monitoring, patching, backup, maintenance, and documentation activities across OT systems.
- Apply security, operational, and regulatory best practices in a high-availability environments.
- Participate in out-of-hours or emergency support when required to maintain service continuity.
What You'll Bring
- Experience as a Systems Engineer in an enterprise, critical infrastructure, or data centre environment.
- Strong hands‐on knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, VMware-based virtualisation, and secure, high-availability infrastructure.
