Network Engineer | Telecommunications | Onsite | Freelance Opportunities

We are looking for an experienced
Network Engineer
who is passionate about networking technologies, security, and troubleshooting complex ICT environments. This is an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-grade network infrastructures while collaborating with highly skilled infrastructure and operations teams.

Onsite (Pagani OR Genova)

Fluent English Required and Italian

? Your Responsibilities
- Configure, manage, and maintain core network infrastructure
- Administer and support:
- Switches
- Routers
- Firewalls
- Configure and support global and border network components
- Monitor network security and manage vulnerabilities
- Perform patching, CVE analysis, and remediation activities
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices
- Handle incidents and service requests related to ICT infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues
- Maintain technical documentation including:




- Network diagrams
- IP plans
- Network configurations
- Operating procedures
- Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure service continuity

✅ Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum
3+ years of experience
as a Network Engineer or similar role
- Strong experience with:
- Cisco
- Juniper
- Or equivalent networking technologies
- Solid understanding of network security and compliance frameworks
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience managing incidents and operational activities in ICT infrastructures

- Experience working in Lab and/or R&D; environments
- Previous experience within the Telecommunications sector
