We’re looking for a Global Frame Shape Database Manager and VTO Scan Lab Supervisor to join VIS-NDOF in our Frame Platform and VTO ecosystem.
Global Frame Shape Database Manager
To ensure high-quality frame shape metadata and scans are captured, stored, and made available to Visustore, Visufit, VTO, VTO(at)Home, Frame Platform, ECP Online, and related applications; to lead the Frame Platform Scan Lab operations in Italy with excellence and reliability.
Global Frame Shape Database Manager
Quality control and entering frame shape meta data consumed by multiple platforms
Creating traces of frame requests for cut edge and fit and uploading them to the GFDB
Maintaining correctness of all data within the GFDB (23k+ frames)
Supporting CE&F; project “GFDB” by connecting stakeholders and advising on technical questions
Connecting “online” data with GFDB,
guiding data handling between FMT and Online
Guiding BI dashboards on what to display and which data matters from business and data perspectives
Coordinating the Frame Platform Scan Lab in Italy with two operators (plus one backup)
Controlling and correcting meta data to ensure accuracy of stored data (Meta-trace and 3D data)
Improving the scan process for speed, data handling, and reducing partner involvement
Frames on the platform (KPI)
Your Experience Education
Diploma of optical industrial expert with qualification as optician
Proficiency in software development and agile/sprint methodologies
Work experience
Handling, creating, and tracing frame data; Advanced understanding of materials, fitting, and behavior under different conditions
Knowledge of optician workflow, ophthalmic lenses, contact lenses, and low-vision products
Software development experience
Writing software requirements with prioritization for features
