/p h3The Role /h3pAs a Cloud Architect – GCP, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable, and reliable solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
You will lead technical assessments, develop cloud management architectures, and ensure compliance with data protection and security frameworks.
This role requires collaboration with development and infrastructure teams, applying agile methodologies and leveraging CI/CD tools to deliver robust enterprise solutions.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign and implement cloud solutions on GCP for production workloads with high reliability, scalability, and security /li liPerform technical assessments and develop cloud management architectures and reference models /li liIdentify and apply security and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO*****, CIS) /li liEnsure the security of the cloud environment by defining identity and access management policies (IAM) /li liBuild and manage container architectures with Kubernetes, EKS, Docker /li liDevelop automation solutions with Terraform, Ansible,
or equivalent scripting tools /li liManage on-premises and hybrid cloud data centers with automation and orchestration frameworks /li liUse software lifecycle management tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Confluence /li liCollaborate with technical leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver solution designs and technical roadmaps /li /ul h3Required Technical And Professional Expertise /h3 ul li4+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud solutions on GCP /li liStrong practical knowledge of core GCP services, such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud DNS, and VPC /li liProven experience delivering scalable cloud infrastructure in enterprise environments /li liHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation (Terraform preferred; Ansible as a plus) /li liExperience with container-based architecture (Kubernetes / GKE, Docker) /li liPractical experience with CI/CD pipelines and lifecycle management tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence) /li liAbility to work effectively in customer-facing delivery contexts /li /ul h3Preferred Technical And Professional Experience /h3 ul liExposure to data, analytics, and AI/ML workloads on GCP (e.g. BigQuery,
data pipelines), from a cloud infrastructure and delivery perspective /li liExposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure), in addition to GCP, within enterprise delivery contexts /li liCloud certifications such as GCP Professional Cloud Architect (preferred), or AWS / Azure Professional Cloud Architect, as well as Kubernetes-related certifications /li liExposure to hybrid infrastructure environments (VMware, PowerVM, Hyper-V) /li liExperience collaborating within delivery teams, working closely with engineers and architects in hands-on cloud delivery and customer-facing projects /li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 pYou're good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it.
