This position reports to: Local Business Line Manager.
/p h3Your role and responsibilities /h3 pIn this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Sales organization and customers during the proposal and tendering process for Medium Voltage Drives solutions.
/p pActing as a key technical partner, you will work closely with sales teams and customers to identify the best technical solutions and deliver competitive, high-quality proposals.
/p pThe work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid.
/p ul liProviding technical support and advice to customers, channel partners, and Sales Specialists regarding ABB Medium Voltage Drives solutions and applications.
/li liAnalyzing customer specifications, tender documents, and technical requirements to determine the most suitable technical solution.
/li liPreparing and managing technical and commercial proposals, including product configurations, cost calculations, and supporting documentation.
/li liCollaborating with engineering, project management, and sales teams to ensure the successful development of proposals and project opportunities.
/li liSupporting the achievement of order intake, profitability,
and customer satisfaction targets.
/li liManaging proposal activities in a project-driven environment, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
/li liTraveling to customer sites when required to support business development and technical discussions.
/li /ul h3Qualifications for the role /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
/li liExperience in proposal engineering, application engineering, sales engineering, or a similar technical-commercial role is considered a strong advantage.
/li liSolid understanding of electrical systems, knowledge of Medium Voltage equipment or industrial automation solutions is a plus.
/li liAbility to read, interpret, and analyze technical specifications, customer requirements, and project documentation.
/li liStrong problem-solving skills and determination to overcome technical and commercial challenges.
/li liExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences.
/li liCustomer-focused mindset and ability to work effectively in a project-based environment.
/li liFluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
/li liAvailability to travel domestically and internationally when required.
/li liTeam player with a collaborative approach and strong organizational skills.
