In this role, you will drive large-scale migration of legacy EDW workloads to the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform across EMEA. You will partner with leadership, product, and account teams to design adoption strategies, technical guardrails, and actionable steps that help customers achieve their business objectives. You’ll develop scalable migration programs, tools, and best practices, while serving as a tier-3 escalation point for complex deployments. You will also mentor regional teams and contribute thought leadership through whitepapers, blogs, and public talks. This role combines deep data architecture expertise with hands-on guidance to modernize data workloads at scale.

- Lead regional migration strategy and adoption efforts for large-scale EDW migrations

- Architect and refine programmatic migration assets and technical guides

- Build and guide automated assessment tools from customer engagements

- Serve as tier-3 technical escalation for complex migrations in must-win accounts

- Enable and scale regional presales migration practice through mentoring

- Bridge field insights with Product Management and Engineering

- Author technical content and present at forums to position Databricks for enterprise database modernization

- Handle the most complex technical challenges as escalation point for mission-critical environments

- 8+ years in customer-facing pre-sales, architect, or consulting roles

- Deep understanding of legacy EDW architectures xysqume (Teradata, Netezza, Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift, Exadata) and modernization pathways

- Proven mastery of EDW-to-Data Intelligence Platform migrations

- Hands-on experience with Lakehouse architecture and Spark, Python, SQL

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Public cloud architecture experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Experience collaborating with Professional Services and Global Systems Integrators to standardize migration delivery methods
