ppCMD is an Italian company that operates in the design and production of internal combustion engines and related electronic control systems.
We are looking for an Electronic Engineer to join our electronic control systems team at the headquarters in San Nicola La Strada (CE).
In the context of the Electronic Research and Development Department you will design electronic control systems for diesel engines.
/ppThe candidate will mainly have the responsibility of: /pulliDevelop software and firmware for safety critical applications /liliActively participate in the complete development of the product /liliWrite documentation relating to the software development process based on the DO178C standard /li /ulh3Education /h3ulliMaster Degree in Electronic or Automation Engineering.
/li /ulh3Technical Skills Required (Must) /h3ulliKnowledge of the main development environments for embedded systems (Eclipse, Tasking, etc.) /liliKnowledge of requirements management tools (DOORs, Polarion, etc.) /liliKnowledge of C, C ++ language.

/liliKnowledge of SW development processes for safety critical applications (e.g. DO-178C) /liliKnowledge of the main communication protocols: CAN, RS232, SPI, I2C, USB etc.
/liliKnowledge of electronics fundamentals (capability of reading and understanding of electrical diagram and schematics) /li /ulh3Additional Technical Skills (Plus) /h3ulliExperience in computer vision / machine learning, AI, video processing /liliExperience in high-level programming languages in Windows and Linux (e.g. Python, Qt, etc.) /liliExperience in LabVIEW.
