Head Chef – Korean / Asian Cuisine

Namul Korean Restaurant, established in Nassau, The Bahamas in 2023, is seeking a hands-on Head Chef to lead our kitchen and help shape the next stage of the restaurant. This is an operational leadership position with responsibility for menu development, recipe standardization, food cost, inventory, waste control, staff training and consistent food quality. We are looking for a chef who can combine authentic Korean and Asian techniques with commercially successful dishes for local and international guests. Key Responsibilities • Lead daily kitchen operations and supervise the culinary team. • Develop and refine Korean and Asian dishes while respecting authentic flavors and techniques. • Create and standardize recipes, portions, preparation procedures and presentation. • Manage food cost, inventory, purchasing, ordering and waste. • Train, develop and evaluate kitchen staff. • Maintain high standards of food safety,



sanitation and kitchen organization. • Work closely with management on menu development and operational improvements. International candidates are welcome to apply. Compensation and Benefits • Base salary: BSD $4,000–$4,500 gross per month. The Bahamian dollar is maintained at parity with the US dollar (BSD $1 = USD $1). • Furnished company-provided accommodation, separate from and in addition to the base salary. • Employer-sponsored Bahamian work permit for eligible international candidates. • Health insurance. • Relocation assistance. • Staff meals during scheduled shifts. • Initial 12-month contract with a performance review and the opportunity for renewal. • Start date: As soon as the required work authorization is approved. vetrinabakeca
