ppbPurpose of Position /b /p /brpThe Senior Financial Analyst will build the scalable financial data processes that support accounting operations. Working closely with the Financial Data Team Leader, this role sources and pre-transforms operational data from source systems, ERP and finance tools, and turns it into automated reconciliations and reporting that accounting teams can rely on for month-end close, credit control, working capital and other financial operations. /p /brpThis role is the technical execution engine of the finance data squad — building the pipelines, reconciliations and reports that the Financial Data Team Leader prioritizes and owns at a strategic level. This is a newly created team - you will shape how Finance Operations at Awin works for years to come. /p /brpbKey Responsibilities /b /p /brpbFinancial Data Sourcing Transformation /b /p /brul /brliSource and pre-transform accounting data from source systems, ERP and finance tools to support financial bookings and close processes /li /brliBuild and maintain scalable data pipelines that feed accounting and financial reporting processes /li /brliEnsure accuracy, traceability and auditability of the financial data inputs you build /li /br /ul /brpbAutomated Reconciliations /b /p /brul /brliDesign and build automated reconciliation processes between source systems, ERP and downstream reporting, reducing manual reconciliation work for accounting teams /li /brliInvestigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, escalating systemic or recurring issues to the Financial Data Team Leader /li /brliWork with the Financial Data Team Leader to refine requirements and manage the delivery backlog for reconciliation and pipeline work /li /br /ul /brpbProcess Optimization /b /p /brul /brliBuild automation that removes manual data manipulation from accounting teams’ day-to-day work /li /brliSupport the efficiency and reliability of month-end close by keeping data flows and reconciliations running smoothly /li /brliFlag recurring data quality issues at source and work with Data Engineering to fix them upstream /li /brliProactively identifies data gaps, quality issues and process inefficiencies and proposes solutions /li /br /ul /brpbOperational Financial Reporting /b /p /brul /brliDevelop reporting to support accounting and operational finance processes such as: Credit control and collections, Working capital monitoring, Revenue operational reconciliation,



Transaction-level financial controls /li /brliProvide accountants with visibility into financial process drivers and anomalies /li /br /ul /brpbData Governance /b /p /brul /brliApply consistent data definitions in your builds, flagging inconsistencies to the Financial Data Team Leader /li /brliWork with Finance Systems to maintain alignment between source systems and ERP structures /li /br /ul /brpbKey Skills /b /p /brul /brli3+ years experience in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics /li /brliComfortable working across finance and data teams to get reconciliation and reporting builds right /li /brliSolid understanding of accounting processes (close cycle, revenue recognition, reconciliations, working capital) /li /brliAbility to translate accounting requirements into data specifications /li /brliComfortable engaging with Finance Operations stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear technical specifications /li /brliMeticulous and detail-oriented, with the rigor reconciliation and financial control work demands /li /brliStrong process improvement mindset ( thinking about the end user, iterating based on feedback, and caring about the quality and reliability of what they deliver) /li /brliAbility to structure complex financial data problems /li /brliCapable of communicating complex problems to all level of stakeholders /li /brliBachelor’s Degree in a Finance, Business or Analytics related field /li /brliStudying towards or holding AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent (advantageous, not required) /li /brliFluent English; an additional European language is advantageous given the multi-location remit but not essential /li /brliStrong SQL skills, including window functions, CTEs, and working with large transactional datasets /li /brliExperience working with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.),
