ROLE SUMMARY

The candidate is responsible for the mechanical design, of power converters and assemblies for electric drives and other applications in the energy field.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

- As part of the Mechanical Development R&D; office, based on the project's mechanical specifications, the engineer uses CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor) to create 3D construction concepts for electronic converters and subassemblies, working in a team with power electronics designers.
- Develops complete 3D designs for electronic converters and power subassemblies, ensuring compliance with the requirements defined by the project specifications in accordance with the relevant product standards.
- Develops 2D specification drawings for mechanical parts, ensuring their completeness and accuracy.
- Develops the necessary documentation for the construction of electronic converters and power subassemblies (drawings and assembly instructions).
- Supervises and verifies prototype assembly and conducts the related design reviews prior to production release.
- Performs hydraulic and mechanical measurements and tests, verify the results, and prepares the related test reports.
- Maintaining the skills of balance, attention, and precision.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (preferred) or high school diploma.
- Experience in power electronics converters or assemblies design is required, along with basic knowledge of material properties and thermal management technologies.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, mechanical CAD software (Inventor, AutoCAD) and PDM software is required.




- Basic knowledge of thermal and CFD simulation (Flotherm or equivalent) is an additional advantage.
- Willingness to travel briefly, both nationally and internationally, is required.
- 2/3 years of experience.

Salary Range: 40.000 - 45.000€
