ph3POSITION SUMMARY /h3pThe AOG Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) will be responsible for troubleshooting, and repairs including airframe structures, engines and aircraft systems. The AMT will make repairs and conduct tests to keep equipment operating efficiently and safely. The AMT will need to be self sufficient and often be working in remote locations exposed to the elements. /ph3DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES /h3ulliPerform all airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications required to meet company and regulatory requirements /liliRemove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install of replacement parts and testing aircraft system /liliOperate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments /liliComplete all required maintenance records in an accurate manner to include accurately reporting of times required to accomplish the tasks assigned /liliMust support all company policies and safety programs to include OSHA and EPA regulations /liliInterpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints /liliPresent a clean and neat work area /liliDemonstrate professionalism and deliver satisfaction to the internal/external customer /liliPerform other related duties responsibilities as assigned /li /ulh3EDUCATION EXPERIENCE /h3ulliB1 or B1/B2 License /liliUK CAA and EASA License /liliProven experience directly related aviation experience (corporate aircraft experience preferred) /liliType ratings on GVI and EMB550 desired /liliGood working knowledge of EASA/UK CAA: Part 145, Part M, Part CAMO,
Part 21 /li /ulh3REQUIRED SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS /h3ulliMust possess the legal ability to work in Europe and/or the UK and have the ability to travel in and out of the UK/EU and US and to all cities/countries where Flexjet serves. /liliSuccessful candidate will be highly motivated and work effectively under pressure and time constraints /liliMust have the ability to multi-task within a team environment /liliStrong working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programs /liliPossess proven inspection competencies /liliMust be detail-oriented and well organized; demonstrate excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude /liliSuccessful candidate will ideally have own set of hand tools. Specialized aircraft tooling will be furnished by the company /liliMust maintain a valid driver's license /li /ulh3WORK ENVIRONMENT /h3pWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions.
