We are looking for a dedicated professional who shares our core values of Customer passion, Care, Collaboration, Curiosity, and Courage. /p pSSC Space Italy is seeking for its client's Satellite and Missions Department in Milano/ Rome/Torino. /p h3Requirements /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in informatics or Electronics Engineering or equivalent /li liMinimum 3 years of professional experience as embedded software engineer. /li liHigh level of flexibility, willingness to work in teams and ability to keep tight schedules. /li liHigh motivation, pro‑active working approach and strong sense of responsibility. /li liFluent in written and spoken English. /li /ul pExpertise in one or more of the following fields is desirable: /p ul liEmbedded C Software design/development /li liFamiliarity with software-level requirements capture, analysis and verification techniques /li liExperience in hardware/software integration phase /li liExperience with SW-applicable development standards (ECSS) /li liExperience in of UML design /li liExperience in the Code Version Control tools (e.g.
svn, git) /li liExperience in the usage of DOORS /li liExperience in the usage of IBM Rhapsody (Model-Based design and autocode) /li liExperience with Software Validation Facilities (SVF) /li liExperience with one or more of the chipsets and CPU architectures used in space (e.g. SPARC Leon, PowerPC, ARM, RISC-V) /li liExperience in Software Static Analysis and related tools (e.g. PC-Lint, Understand, LDRA, Polyspace) /li liExperience with tools used for test preparation and execution (e.g. CCS, ECHO, VectorCAST/Cover, TestRT) /li liExperience with Software Validation Facilities (SVF) /li liKnowledge of one or more of the protocols used in space : (e.g. CANBus, MIL-STD-1553, Space-wire) /li liKnowledge of packet based communication protocols: (e.g. CCSDS, ECSS PUS). /li liKnowledge of RTOS (e.g RTEMS) /li liKnowledge of CD/CI practices /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDefinition of the architecture, design and development of the Software (Boot SW, Drivers and Application Software) for the On-Board Computers developed by OHB-I /li liIntegration of the Software with the On-Board Computers /li liPreparation of the On-Board Software Verification and Validation Plan /li liPreparation of the On-Board Software Test Design and Procedures for the different test levels /li liPreparation of the test scripts and test tools /liliSatellite Reference Database preparation /li liSoftware Test Campaign execution and reporting /li liSupport to AIT/AIV team during Integration, Validation and Testing campaigns /li liParticipation to the technical reviews with the customers. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liCompetitive remuneration package, recognizing the value of your skills and expertise. /li liUnique career opportunities, including the possibility of working in other countries with our SSC Group. /li liPersonalized training and development programmes. /li /ul pTo be considered for this Position prior to , please apply via our Job Application form.
