The R&D; office in Milan is looking for an engineer whose main role will be to contribute to tyre performance development and vehicle performance evaluation, as a member of the team.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a highly motivated engineer with a strong academic background in mechanical engineering and at least three years of professional experience in tyre performance, vehicle dynamics, testing, or performance analysis. Previous experience in the automotive sector, both two-wheel and four-wheel vehicle applications, will be considered a strong advantage. This role is ideal for an engineer who is curious, proactive, data-driven, and passionate about improving vehicle performance through tyre understanding and experimental analysis.
Education
- MSc in Mechanical Engineering.
Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of tyre behaviour, vehicle dynamics fundamentals, and the interaction between tyres, suspension, chassis setup, and overall vehicle performance.
- Ability to analyze and interpret tyre performance data from indoor testing, proving ground activities, and on-vehicle measurements.
- Knowledge of tyre operating conditions, including pressure, temperature, wear, grip, durability, and their impact on handling, stability,
comfort, and performance.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as MATLAB and Excel; knowledge of Python or data acquisition software is a plus.
- Ability to define test procedures, analyze results, prepare technical reports, and provide clear recommendations to support tyre selection and vehicle setup decisions.

This role is responsible for supporting tyre performance evaluation through test planning, data collection, data analysis, and correlation of indoor and outdoor testing results.
The position involves analyzing tyre behaviour under different operating conditions, supporting vehicle and sensor setup for testing activities, and translating test results into practical recommendations for vehicle performance development.
The engineer contributes to the definition of tyre performance targets and works closely with cross-functional teams in vehicle dynamics, testing, and product development.
