Job Description
With the aim of strengthening the coordination activities of the medical representatives’ network, we are recruiting an
Area Manager Joint Care
who will ensure the achievement of sales goals for Joint Care in the areas of Lazio, Marche, Umbria, Abruzzo by managing a team of medical representatives.
Main responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth and market share within the district by effectively managing the medical representative team.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand the district’s market presence.
- Oversee district budgets, control promotional expenses, and ensure optimal resource allocation for maximum ROI.
- Conduct regular field visits, performance reviews, and coaching sessions to support and guide the sales team.
- Track daily KPIs via CRM and ensure consistent performance and target achievement across the team.
- Provide regular feedback and assess development needs for each team member.
- Provide regular updates on sales results, market dynamics, competitor activities, and team performance to senior management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, HCPs, and other critical district stakeholders.
- Ensure all district operations align with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Degree,
preferably in scientific disciplines according to the Legislative Decree 219 of 2006 and later amendments.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the role of Area Manager.
- Candidates without experience in people management will also be considered if they have at least 5 years’ experience as a Medical Representative.
- Previous experience in the therapeutic areas of Joint Care will be considered an advantage.
- Good knowledge of the English language.
- Excellent knowledge of the Office package and knowledge of CRM system.
- Result-oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to motivate the team.

- Salary between € 56.800 and € 71.000 and, in addition, a net annual per diem allowance equal to approximately 10% of the salary will be paid (based on field assignments).
