We are looking for a high-performing Sales Executive to join our sales team. Reporting to our Sales Lead Manager, your objective will be to detect new merchant opportunities in Italy. You’ll have room to segment by sector and company size as you grow in this role.
Responsibilities
Regularly generate new business opportunities, pitch and differentiate Scalapay's services, and close deals.
Drive strategy for new clients: lead sales calls, business reviews, and recurring check-ins.
Build custom sales presentations by preparing key data, historical findings, and relevant research.
Establish strong relationships with key interlocutors, building and executing joint agreed business plans with partners or merchants to drive mutual growth and success.
Follow and manage your sales pipeline in our CRM (Hubspot).
Work on improving a complete and complex sales cycle, from prospecting to contract signature with multi-interlocutor contact.
Who we’re looking for
Must have
3+ years of relevant sales or business development experience within the SaaS, ecommerce, or digital marketing industries.
Native Italian speaker, comfortable writing in English as English is our work language inside Scalapay.
Nice to have
Experience in the ecommerce ecosystem.
Good knowledge of CRM tools, LinkedIn and prospecting solutions.
Experience in a hyper-growth startup environment.
Familiarity with MEDDIC or other commercial frameworks.

Hiring process
Initial conversation with Talent Acquisition to assess fit.
First interview with the Sales Lead Manager to explore experiences and motivation.
Skills-based exercise and debrief with key stakeholders in our Milan office.
Final discussion with the CEO.
Compensation
Compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications. xysqume Expected gross annual base salary: EUR 40,000 - 70,000, plus variable compensation of EUR 10,000 - 40,000 based on performance.
