Reporting to the Supply Chain Leader, the Production Planner Intern supports the deployment and execution of the best procurement strategy (quality, costs, delivery, inventory) in relation to allocated materials and components required for the production process.
The Production Planner Intern also works in close cooperation with Manufacturing, Finance, Quality and Customer Service teams to optimize costs, quality and lead time of allocated products and components. With support of the Supply Chain Leader and team, the Production Planner Intern ensures the production plan meets customers’ demands and monitors its execution, while also assisting the procurement team in suppliers’ management.
Your day-to-day

- Enters data into system for purchasing activities
- Track purchases and status of orders and deliveries
- Release purchase orders
- Monitors quality and timeliness of materials and goods
- Focuses primarily on current suppliers for current product lines
- Ensures the production plan is respected to meet customer demand in terms of quantity, quality and timeliness. Ensure every gap is closed and promptly communicated to internal and external customers
