We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic **Maître**for Borgo Santo Pietro, an award
- winning five-star luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of Tuscan countryside, surrounded by a 300-acre organic farm, vineyards and wonderful gardens. The Maître is responsible for overseeing the dining room operations of our **Restaurant Trattoria sull’Albero**, ensuring exceptional service, and creating a welcoming and memorable experience for guests. This role involves managing staff, coordinating reservations, and maintaining the overall ambiance of the restaurant. **Main Responsabilities**: - Supervise and coordinate the activities of dining room staff.
- Greet guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present menus.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize restaurant flow and guest satisfaction.
- Train and mentor staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and guest interaction.
- Ensure that the dining room is clean, organized, and properly set up before, during, and after service.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor service quality and provide feedback to staff to maintain high standards.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, wine list, and daily specials.
- Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the dining room.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
- Proven experience as a Maître or in a similar role in a high-end restaurant.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Fluency in English and Italian is requested. **Details of the Offer**:
