TC2 Group is the trusted Partner of its Clients offering Engineering and Supply Chain consulting services to EPCs and Packagers in order to guarantee concrete results and solutions in the Energy, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Railway, Aerospace sectors. **Position title**: Inspection Coordinator **Department**: Post - Order **Location**: Roma The Inspection Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating inspection and quality control activities on materials and products supplied. This position interacts with suppliers, quality inspectors, and internal teams to ensure compliance with company quality standards and regulations.
- **Main Responsibilities**_:_
- Verify that equipment complies with international regulations and the technical specifications required by customers.
- Review and approve the Quality Control Plan (QCP/ITP), quality control procedures, and manufacturing procedures (assembly, welding, ndt, hydrostatic and factory acceptance tests) of Suppliers.
- Check the compliance of materials, welders, welding procedures (Welding Book), and various manufacturing processes.
- Perform visual, dimensional, and non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections, as well as pressure tests during various manufacturing stages and on assembled pressure equipment.
- Prepare and manage inspection reports, highlighting any non-conformities and collaborating with the production team to resolve potential issues.
- Conduct periodic and final inspections to ensure the quality and safety of equipment before delivery.
- Verify and sign for acceptance of test reports provided by Suppliers for the tested equipment.
- Interface with customers,
inspection bodies, and external auditors to facilitate inspection and certification activities.
- Keep records and documentation related to inspections and tests up to date.
- Organize audits and quality checks at suppliers, analyze any non-conformities, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection documentation and prepare detailed reports for management.
- Interface with clients and suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual specifications and resolve any issues.
- Support the training and professional development of the inspection team
- **Qualification requirements**:_
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Materials) or a technical diploma with equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience as an Inspection Coordinator, SQE, or Quality Engineer.
- In-depth knowledge of inspection techniques and product quality requirements related to rotating equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and product specifications.
- Experience in managing a team of inspectors and coordinating multi-site activities.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Required languages obbigatory: English and Italian **This is a temporary position for a minimum period of 12 months, extendable** Salary for this position is negotiable based on experience
