Euronext Securities - Business Continuity Management Internship

About the role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to our activities on Business Continuity Management. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in risk management, business resilience and crisis response within a fast-paced, international financial services environment.
- Key responsibilities_
- _ Support the BCM team in maintaining and updating Euronext’s business continuity plans (BCPs), ensuring they reflect current business processes, regulatory requirements and best practices._
- _ Assist in conducting and documenting business impact analyses (BIA) to identify critical business functions, dependencies and recovery priorities._
- _ Participate in risk assessments to evaluate potential threats and vulnerabilities that could impact business operations._
- _ Help organise and facilitate business continuity exercises and simulations, such as tabletop exercises, scenario-based drills and crisis management workshops. Assist in capturing lessons learned and following up on action items._
- _ Contribute to the development and review of incident response procedures, escalation protocols and crisis communication plans._
- _ Assist in monitoring and reporting on key business continuity metrics, such as recovery time objectives (RTOs), recovery point objectives (RPOs) and test results._
- _ Support the team in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g. ISO 22301, DORA, local regulatory requirements)._
- _ Help maintain BCM documentation and records, including plan updates, test schedules, training materials and audit evidence._
- _ Assist in preparing reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management, auditors and other stakeholders._
- _ Support the coordination of BCM awareness and training sessions for staff across Euronext locations._
- What we are looking for_
- _ Currently studying for or recently completed a degree in business, risk management, finance, information security or a related field._
- _ Strong organisational skills and attention to detail._
- _ Good written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus._
- _ Ability to work both independently and as part of a multicultural team._
- _ Interest in financial markets, risk management or operational resilience is an advantage._
- _ Knowledge of the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) Good Practice Guidelines is considered a plus._
