**Job Title**:Tour Logistics and Operations Specialist **Location**: [City/Office Location] (Hybrid) - Rome **Schedule**: Full-time (4x10 hour shifts) **About the Role**: Carpe Diem Tours is seeking a highly organized Tour Logistics and Operations Specialist to ensure the seamless execution of our daily operations. In this role, you will be the logístical backbone of our tours, managing guide deployment, vendor bookings, and financial controls across our European destinations. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love complex scheduling puzzles, and have a "can-do" attitude, we want to meet you. **Key Responsibilities**: - **Guide Scheduling**: Execute comprehensive scheduling for freelance tour guides, acting as the main contact for shift changes and coverage.
- **Logistics & Vendor Management**: Efficiently manage restaurant and bar bookings for our culinary and nightlife tours, collaborating with Destination Management teams across Europe.
- **Inventory Control**: Maintain exclusive responsibility for guest radio systems, including tracking and maintenance.
- **Financial Coordination**: Verify shift logs, reconcile hours for monthly payments, and audit operational costs to prevent overspending. **Requirements**:



- **Languages**: Basic professional working proficiency in **Spanish and Italian** is required.
- **Organizational Excellence**: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage complex schedules.
- **Tech Proficiency**: High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and scheduling software, plus an openness to using AI tools to enhance efficiency.
- **Work Schedule**: This position operates on a 4-day work week (four 10-hour shifts).
- **Weekends**: You are expected to work **at least 4 full weekend days per month**.
- **Location**: Weekdays are office-based; work-from-home is available on scheduled weekends. **Compensation & Contract**: - **Contract Type**: We offer a 1-year fixed-term contract (**Determinato**), with the possibility of moving to a permanent contract (**Indeterminato**) after one year. **Salary**: €1800 - €2100 per month, depending on experience.
