Retail Merchandising Specialist

We are looking for a passionate talent to build a global brand. The candidate will join the Merchandising team, located in Milan.

The Retail Merchandising Specialist will support the definition and execution of the retail merchandising strategy across all Regions, collaborating cross-functional with other departments from Collection Merchandising to Retail, Brand and Crm. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills merged with a good sense of fashion trends and the ability to balance creative and commercial thinking. You will have the opportunity to join a team focused on different and stimulating projects, ensuring the smooth running of all activities.

Main Responsibilities

- Support the planning and execution of seasonal merchandising strategies in line with brand identity considering sales targets, display capacity, inventory level and stock rotation
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to define assortment guidelines, ensuring a balanced product mix, aligning with Retail and Collection Merchandising
- Assist Regional merchandising teams to ensure consistency with buying guidelines during the buying campaign and before final submission
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on product performance,



analyze sales data and inventory levels and propose actions for improvement
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to suggest and make informed merchandising decisions

Requirements

- 2-3 years of experience in retail merchandising, buying or retail planning, ideally in the fashion industry
- Strong understanding of fashion retail dynamics, market trends and consumer behavior
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
- Great communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, detail-oriented and organized mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
