Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager Southern Europe, the Retail Area Manager drives the implementation and improvement of the retail business strategy. She/he is accountable to drive the sales growth and exploring new business opportunities, acting as an impactful leader working cross functionally to drive and further develop a profitable business.
Key Accountabilities:
Strategy and sales management
Developing a strategy for maximizing sales, revenues and global efficacy to ensure that Gucci’s targets and objectives are met
Profit & Loss accountability for costs saving measures and initiatives to guarantee an high productivity level
Proposing innovative strategies to better fit the retail business expansion and needs
Developing actions, events and partner collaborations
Business development - collaborating with external business partners to develop the market
Planning and forecasting
Analysing data, KPIs and figures to formulate a strategy and propositions
Forecasting future sales volumes for maximising profits
Studying and interpreting trends to facilitate people and store performance planning
Analysis and Monitoring
Managing and controlling data analysis to drive business results
Monitoring detailed sales and stock for each store, maximizing sales and results by store through collaboration with the Merchandising and Store Leadership team for a better understanding of each market
