Technical Application Specialist

In this role you apply your downstream bioprocessing expertise to drive sales and customer value. You will work within the DSP Customer Application team to deliver solutions for Italy and MEA, guiding projects from pre-sales to implementation. You’ll analyze customer needs and market dynamics to identify growth, while engaging with clients both on-site and remotely. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll help plan regional action plans and feed customer insights into product strategy. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role at the intersection of science, strategy, and customer success.

- Lead complex projects from pre-sales through implementation to ensure a positive customer experience
- Develop and implement DSP bioprocessing solutions for customers in Italy and MEA
- Analyze market dynamics and customer needs to identify strategic growth opportunities
- Engage with customers in person and virtually, presenting our expertise and addressing needs
- Support Field Marketing and Commercial teams in planning regional action plans
- Serve as a liaison to share customer feedback to inform strategy and product offerings
- Strong DSP bioprocessing technical experience
- Ability to travel up to 70% of time
- Italian work permit / living in Italy
- Solid understanding of bioproduction workflows across modalities (mAbs, ADCs, vaccines, mRNA, Cell/Gene Therapy)
- Excellent verbal and written communication for strategic relationship building
- Customer-centric mindset with proactive, action-driven approach
- Previous customer-facing experience
- Previous project management experience leading multi-stakeholder projects
