We are looking for a talented
Ship’s Doctor
to join our dynamic Hospital Team onboard Costa vessels.
What makes you unique
- Appropriate Medical Degree with relevant specialization (Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, Critical Areas or other relevant specializations)
- A minimum of 3 years working experience post-graduate or post-registration
- At least 6 months certified full-time experience in emergency area (ER, ICU, ambulances)
- ACLS, ATLS, APLS, etc. courses or equivalent
- Enrollment in Italian Doctors Professional Order (Ordine Provinciale dei Medici Chirurghi ed Odontoiatri)
- Good command of English (minimum B2)
- Availability to work onboard for at least 6 months in a year, split in two contracts of 3 or 4 consecutive months
- Strong computer Literacy (including email, internet browsing and office tools)

supporting and guiding the Hospital Team while ensuring the highest standards of medical care and compliance.
Daily Doctors Operations
- You will act as the primary point of contact for all medical matters on board, ensuring full compliance and adherence to Company Standards
- You will provide high-quality healthcare to crew and passengers through clinic services and on-call duties
- You will manage medical cases, emergencies, disembarkations, and referrals ashore in coordination with the Chief Doctor
- You will ensure full compliance with Company medical procedures and foster collaboration within the Hospital Team
- You demonstrate the ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities
- You act as a role model by respecting and applying Company Values, actively engaging and fostering teamwork
