Position Overview

Weareseekinganexperienced Directorof PharmacytooverseeoperationsacrosstwoFQHCCommunity Health Centersin Oakland,(PIC),thisrolecombinesleadership,operationaloversight,andadeepcommitmenttocommunityhealthcare. The Directorwillleadthe Pharmacy&Therapeutics;(P&T;)Committee,managethe340BDrug Pricing Program,andensurecompliancewithallfederalandstateregulationswhilementoringadedicatedteam.

TheFQHCCommunity Health Clinichasbeeninoperationforover20yearsandoffers Mental Health,Primary Care Medical,Physical Therapy,&DentistryservicestotheBIPOCcommunity.;

Key Responsibilities

- Leadday-to-daypharmacyoperationsandmaintaincompliancewith California Boardof PharmacyandHRSAstandards.
- ServeasPICforaudits,licensing,andqualityinitiatives.
- DirecttheP&TCommittee;,ensuringsafeandeffectiveformularymanagement.
- Overseethe340BDrug Pricing ProgramwithfullHRSAcompliance.




- Mentorpharmacists,technicians,interns,andexterns.
- Ensurethepharmacyisinfullcompliancewith Alameda County,Contra Costa County,Californiaand Federalregulations
- Manageprocurement,inventory,andmedicationstorage.
- Collaboratewithproviderstooptimizemedicationsafetyandcostefficiency.
- Supporteducationalandoutreachprogramswithinthecommunity.

Requirements:

- Pharm DorBPharmfromanaccreditedinstitution.
- Active California Pharmacistlicense.
- Minimum5yearsofpharmacyexperience;FQHCexperiencepreferred.
- Proven340BProgrammanagement;priorPICexperiencepreferred.
- Strongleadershipandcommunicationskills.
- Spanish-speakingabilitypreferred.
