The role of procurement during the preopening of the hotel is key for a successful opening.
The main responsibilities are to purchase the goods and services for the entire hotel in a timely and correct manner, as it will impact the smooth opening and post opening running of the hotel.
/ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliTo ensure all supplies / goods are supplied on time.
/liliEnsure stock on hand is as per established Min/Max levels.
/liliAnalyze the consumption of items and review Min/Max levels yearly.
/liliVendor information is maintained by the purchasing department and include: Supplier distribution channels; Product availability; Pricing and product information.
Purchase history and consumption rates; Supplier information /liliNegotiate and establish annual contracts for bulk Food / Beverage / General Supplies /liliEnsure High volume and/or high-cost purchases (as per policy) go through competitive bidding process with a minimum of 3 bidders.
/liliAnalyze hotel engineering dept. operation, identify min. 3 suppliers Eng.
spare parts supplies /liliConduct monthly meetings with MD / DFBP / AP / HOD's to discuss status of open orders, procurement of capex items, change of vendors etc.
/liliPrepare minutes of meeting.
/liliConduct market survey to familiarize with local market for hotel products and make sure of supplies.
/liliMarket survey is conducted by Purchasing staff, Cost Controller and Chef periodically to use as reference in FB purchasing decisions.
/liliCompare market pricelists for multiple vendors, and update.




/liliPrepare purchase price comparison sheet showing variances from the last contract for food and beverage and routed to the Cost Controller, Executive Chef and DOF for review.
/liliEnsure to purchase the best quality at best price.
/liliTo communicate the user dept. with not available and delay in arrival of goods.
/liliTo communicate with user departments and provide feedback on existing / new products.
/liliTo communicate with suppliers to ensure the quality of the service and products.
/liliTo update the supplier's reputation, working relationship etc. constantly.
/liliTo respect suppliers and vendors all times.
/liliCo – Operation to get suggestion from user dept. on purchasing.
/liliTo co - operate with other sister - hotel on every available aspect.
/li /ulh3Training /h3ulliTo conduct the training based on department training needs.
/liliTo conduct the training based on staff performance appraisals.
/liliTo conduct staff training on job morality.

The crown jewel of the project will be the reimagination of the former BNL headquarters, the main unit of the development that was initially designed by renowned Italian architect and urban planner Marcello Piacentini.
The design will take influence from the hotel's location overlooking Via Veneto, one of Rome's most elegant streets and a symbol of the celebrated Federico Fellini film, La Dolce Vita, with elegant interiors that blend timeless style with contemporary comforts.
In keeping with Rosewood's guiding A Sense of Place philosophy, Rome's relaxed ambiance and devotion to dolce far niente, or the art of "doing nothing," will influence the hotel's design concept, which will mix traditional architectural elements with modern décor and detailing to create a sophisticated environment for the ultimate life of leisure.
Upon completion, Rosewood Rome will offer 155 accommodations, including 50 suites.
Home to three dining outlets, including a contemporary Italian bistro, a lobby bar and café and a rooftop bar with a terrace with sweeping views of the city, the hotel will serve as a luxurious escape for locals and visitors alike.
Additional amenities include a subterrain experience within the bank's original vault featuring a modern Roman Bathhouse and Spa, located on the rooftop which will feature dedicated treatment rooms and a wellness terrace with a vitality pool and dynamic fitness center.
Dedicated event spaces will encompass several meeting rooms and a grand ballroom.
