/p /brpAs an Integration Solutions Engineer, you will connect our products to the systems used by healthcare organisations and partners.
You will design, build, and maintain the integrations that allow our products to work safely with clinical and operational systems.
/p /brpThe role is technical and client-facing in equal measure.
You will work directly with customer IT teams and partners, and you will implement integrations hands?on rather than only specifying or coordinating them.
/p /brh3bWhat you'll do /b /h3 /brul /brliMap and design integrations between Vermed products and customer or partner systems.
/li /brliBuild integrations using APIs and healthcare interoperability standards, including REST, SOAP, and FHIR where relevant.
/li /brliConfigure and troubleshoot secure connectivity, including IPsec, VPNs, firewall rules, and access controls.
/li /brliWork directly with healthcare organisations and technology partners in Italy to bring integrations live.
/li /brliOwn integrations across their lifecycle: testing, monitoring, maintenance, incident investigation, and updates as systems evolve.




/li /brliApply strong security, privacy, and reliability standards to every integration involving healthcare data.
/li /brliDocument interfaces, decisions, dependencies, and operational procedures clearly.
/li /br /ul /brh3bWhat we're looking for /b /h3 /brul /brliAt least three years in a technical, client-facing integration role, such as Integration Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or a similar position.
/li /brliHands?on experience designing and implementing API integrations.
/li /brliFamiliarity with secure network connectivity and practical integration concerns such as authentication, rate limiting, retries, observability, and firewall rules.
/li /brliThe ability to investigate problems across organisational and technical boundaries and bring them to resolution.
/li /brliA security- and compliance-first approach to healthcare data.
/li /brliClear communication with customer IT teams, partners, and internal engineers.
/li /brliBased in Milan or the Milan metropolitan area and available for in?person collaboration and customer meetings.
/li /brliFluent Italian and professional English.
English is Vermed's company working language.

/li /brliExperience with FHIR or other healthcare interoperability standards.

The role includes regular in?person collaboration in Milan and meetings with healthcare customers and partners in other Italian regions.
